The Belly Baby!

Here is our 10 week Ultrasound of our little #2! We love "it" already and already can't wait to find out what "it" is! Vote on the side of our blog for what you think we will be having, I am always curious to hear what the majority thinks :)
The little one is doing well, it is measuring a little under 10 weeks but the Dr says it is normal to range from 5 days ahead or behind of what you are "supposed" to be at. So we are in the normal range. The heartbeat looked good and was at 148 beats per minute, between 120 & 170 is considered normal. Brooke's was in the 160's if I remember correctly, I do have it written down somewhere :) We think the little one is beautiful and can't wait to watch the baby grow through these months! We will be going in on February 1st to find out what we are having! We are already counting down the days!
Here our our 3 shots we got!

A few things I want to remember about this pregnancy so far:
~ I have been sick to my stomach since literally the day after I got pregnant.
~ The first 8 weeks I felt sick almost 24/7.
~ The past 2 weeks or so I feel sick between the hours of 3:00pm-7:00pm, and I feel REALLY sick then.
~ Very tired, as I was with Brooke, but I feel MORE tired because I have a 1 year old I am trying to keep up with.
~ My mouth always tastes NASTY, almost a metal taste, eeewwwww......
~ I feel bigger faster.
~ For some reason I am more worried about complications this time around than last time? Don't know why?
~ I crave Cold Cut Sandwiches, mostly Roast Beef ones, and LOTS of Mustard!
~ In the very beginning I felt like a bottomless pit but now it feels like a chore to eat most of the time.
~ I am THRILLED to be growing our second little one!

(This pregnancy has been SO different than with Brooke, I craved doughnuts almost daily with Brooke, never felt sick, but just felt VERY tired!!!)

Feels So Good!!!

I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!!
As I said in the last post, I LOVE CHRISTMAS! We had a wonderful Christmas this year! We are SO lucky to be so close to both of our families to celebrate the Holiday with!
We got to spend Christmas Eve with Kip's entire family! We had a blast, ate amazing food, went caroling (which is SO different for Robinson's), opened gifts (we were spoiled), had some laughs, and time went by WAY TOO FAST!!! Kip was passing out early in the evening due to his lack of sleep the night before so we had to head out early to finish our evenings events with being Santa's Helpers!!! We had a wonderful time helping Santa set up the gifts!!!
Of course I am SUPER LAME and have Pregnancy Brain and forgot my camera so I will be stealing pictures from family of the Robinson gift opening extravaganza!
Kip and I took a few shots of us helping out Santa! Kip had SO MUCH FUN being a Daddy and helping Santa! It was cute!

Christmas Morning Brooke was in HEAVEN!!! I do not have any pictures of her opening gifts because well.... she didn't! Once she saw her Kitchen and all her pretend food she was focused on that and that only which we were fine with! We opened the rest for her and showed her each of her toys, she looked for a while then headed back to her Kitchen! SO GLAD SHE LOVES IT!!!

We played this for hours in the morning and had a total blast together as a family. We were breaking a sweat with the Kinect games and Brooke was even getting into playing them!!! This will be PERFECT for when we get up to Idaho and are stuck indoors for the winter months :) We LOVE IT!!!
And Echo beggin for his beggin strips, YES our dog get's gifts and his own stocking!

After playing our games and opening gifts we headed down to San Diego to spend Christmas Day with my family! We ate a WONDERFUL home cooked meal with the very best Turkey all of us have ever had! SO GOOD!!! Also complete with Dad's Poway Beans which were AMAZING as well! We enjoyed laughs, watching the kids go wild, opening gifts (which I also did not get pictures of due to me being busy opening my gifts and helping Brooke), being spoiled, then after dinner and gifts we all packed up and went out to walk a neighborhood full of Christmas Lights! It was a very fun thing to do on Christmas Day! We came home, had pie, and then headed home! It was a wonderful Christmas Holiday!!!

I am NOT loving my house being trashed as it always is after Christmas! Maybe I will get to that tomorrow :) along with going through all Brooke's toys and finding new spots for them. I do LOVE the relief of Christmas being over! Starting to think of the New Years Resolutions!

I hope you all had a very WONDERFUL Christmas and took time to think about the Savior! I hope you all got everything you desired but more than that I hope you all were able to spend time with those you love!

Pre Christmas Post

I just can't believe that TOMORROW is Christmas Eve! Where in the world has this year gone?
I SHOULD be wrapping gifts, which I am sure I will be up all night doing, BUT I just had to get my Pre Christmas Post done that I have been putting off. I wanted so badly to get a picture on Sunday of our little family all dressed up in our cute matching attire and it just did not happen :( SO I have been putting off this post in hopes that we would get all dressed up again just to pose in front of the camera for 3 pictures which OF COURSE did not happen. SO you may be getting a picture of JUST Brooke (really all who matters anyway) in her little dress that I will take tomorrow or on Christmas. Sorry you missed out on Kip and I's hottness, we looked super cute as a matching family I will tell ya that much :)
I just LOVE Christmas time! I love the excuse to spend time thinking of others and being able to spend $ on those we love! I really look so much MORE forward to the gifts I am giving each year than the gifts I am getting, not that that part isn't wonderful as well :) I also LOVE Christmas decorations! I love all the colors, the feel of Christmas, I love having a big lit tree in my house to look forward to seeing each day (so does Brooke, it is the hilight of her morning), I love spending time with family, friends, and loved ones! I love the focus we have on the Savior and on his life! I love that we seriously take the time to focus on being more Christlike people this time of year and wish that it would last all year long! I love Christmas music, Christmas Lights, the smell of baked goods and fireplaces! I am THRILLED to get Christmas cards and letters from our friends and family (some we have not seen in years)! I just LOVE CHRISTMAS!!!
I hope you all have a WONDERFUL and safe Holiday! I hope you all take the time to reflect on the Savior and his life and what he has taught us and given us! I hope you all love each moment you spend with your family members, friends, or other loved ones! I hope you all get what you wanted from Santa, and had a ton of fun GIVING! I hope your Christmas is a Wonderful one!

8 Week Ultrasound!

SO we decided that before we send out our Christmas Cards with an announcement about our little Baby #2, we should probably actually SEE that there is actually a baby in there and that it is doing well. SO we went in for our first Ultrasound at 8 Weeks. We will have another at close to 10 Weeks with my Doctor and we are very excited about that one as well!
WELL....... I am SO happy to announce that there really IS a baby in there and it is growing well and we even got to hear the Heartbeat! I was not expecting to be able to hear the Heartbeat this early but it was there 158 beats per minute which is PERFECT for a baby this age!
SO here is a picture of our little, what they say is the size of a Kidney Bean, Bean Baby!

Trash Digger!

So lately Brooke has been very interested in the concept of the trash can. I find her tearing up pieces of paper and going back and forth throwing away her trash. It is so cute! If you tell her to throw something in the trash she will happily go and do it!
We have encountered a few problems with her love of the trash can tho! First she does not totally understand the concept of what is "trash" and what is not "trash" so we have found things like remote controls hair bows, toys and more in the trash can. I am constantly checking the can to make sure ONLY trash is in it!
Our other problem we encountered is that she does not realize that the trash can is only for putting trash IN not taking it OUT! I am constantly finding her digging in our cans. This day in particular I was on the computer and Brooke was quiet behind me for quite some time. I look back and this is what I find! My little TRASH DIGGER!!!!

P.S. SEE she does not ALWAYS have a bow in her hair :)

Family Photo's 2010

Well the time has come for a new family photo! Kip looks forward to our Family Photo Shoot each and every year..... ok, well wait that is me not him so much, but he is a great sport about it! Brooke knows exactly what to do in front of the camera since she has had one in her face since the day she was born. To me she is a natural! So here they are. I am very pleased! We had Amanda Fien take our photo's this year and we are very happy with how they turned out! Thank You Amanda for working with Kip's CRAZY schedule and the many reschedules that we made!
ENJOY!!!!!

Update!

I feel like I have not been on here to post in FOREVER!!!! I also feel like I have not taken many family shots these days. Not good, gotta get back on that! I am also very sad because my computer that I have been using FOREVER that has all of my pictures on it has a virus I can not get off of it. As I was trying to transfer all of my pictures onto our external hard drive before it crashed I "think" I may have lost all of my pictures from September. So yeah, sad for all the posts I did not do from September that I was being lazy and waiting on. I had some CUTE pictures from September too. I hope that when somebody figures out how to fix my computer that I can find those September shots. I know I did not push any delete button so they should be somewhere right? Anyway. Here are a few of the updated shots of our crazy little Brookers!

About a month ago we had Brooke's 15 month appointment. I was not looking forward to this appointment because #1 she was getting more shots and those just melt my heart, but #2 At Brooke's 12 month appointment she was pretty low on the charts for her weight and as I was seeing she had not gained much weight since then. She was also going through a VERY picky stage with food. She was hardly eating ANYTHING that was solid and it was very much stressing me out and making me feel like I was failing as a mother. NOT FUN! She ended up being 19lbs. 4oz. 4% and 31 1/4inches 48%! Yep she is small! I promise I feed her! She is a very picky kiddo. I have talked to 2 different Doctors about her weight and eating habits. I even lost it and was bawling at the second Doctors appointment because I was so worried about her. The doctor was super sweet, sat down with me, watched her run around in her diaper and concluded that she is a very smart, active, PICKY CHILD! She is doing much better these days with her eating. She does have 4 I teeth that still need to come in and I think that has something to do with it, I have also modified our eating arrangements and her fluid intake. It is getting better. She is also now on 3 Pediasure's a day to help her gain weight and get the nutrition she needs. Anyway, she is healthy and strong and smart and SMALL! But we love her BIG time!
On to more pictures! Enjoy!
Daddy is SO proud of his little girl! So am I! I think this comes more from Kipper's genes tho :)
Photobucket
This one needs no explanation....
Photobucket
She LOVES glasses but happens to break them easily too :(
Photobucket
Brooke LOVES this Blanket!!!! It is her favorite blanket but will take her Pink one if the Purple is in the washer. She has started sucking on the corners to calm and soothe herself now that she no longer has a binki. She calls them her "Giki"'s SO CUTE!!!! SO here is her with her beloved Giki!
Photobucket
Brooke and her Echo! I think this is such a cute picture!

Grammy was in town for the weekend a few weeks ago. I had a photo shoot in the morning and my mom was to watch Brooke for me. I needed to test my lighting so I had them pose for me and this was my FAVORITE lighting shot I go! LOVE IT!
Photobucket
Brooke is quite the active little one! She loves to jump and bounce and fly! She jumps off our couch onto her little homemade love sack we make with all our pillows. SO funny!
Photobucket
I suppose she has learned what keys are for :) Just learning from watching, I did not teach this :)
Photobucket
Another cute one! Proud of this!
Photobucket
2 things Brooke is TOTALLY in love with in 1 thing! Elmo who she calls "Yaya" and Balloons! She adores both so when we found this Balloon at the dollar store she would literally NOT let it go! She ate her entire dinner with her balloon in her other hand. SO CUTE!
Photobucket
Brooke also LOVES to read books! So we let her read in the car and she LOVES IT! This day Brooke had a ton of fun playing with Grandma Robinson and crashed in the car almost immediately!
Photobucket
Brooke has been trying to do rolls, I have been helping her complete them from this point. She cracks me up. We will be getting her in a tumbling class soon hopefully!
Photobucket
This picture says it all!!! I LOVE how much Kipper LOVES this little girl!

And there you have it for now! I will be better at these posts! I promise :) Well, I hope so :)
The saddest part of taking the time to Blog lately is that I feel like nobody reads my blog anymore. I hardly get any comments anymore and I don't know if I am just waisting my time by putting these things up. I do do it for myself and my journal keeping so that is what is keeping me going. I just pray I will take the time at some point to put all of these posts into a book.
Hope you all have a very Happy Thanksgiving!
