Where did 3 months go???

Our little lady is now a whopping 3 months old and I find myself wondering where the time has gone? These have been an interesting 3 months of life due to outside circumstances but they have been the most amazing 3 months of our lives at the same time!! This little lady has brought so much happiness into our home. Her little happy sounds that wake us up in the morning, the smiles, the laughs, all of the joy that she radiates has made our lives SO AMAZING!!! She is such a huge blessing to us, I just could not imagine life without this little person in it! I also can't imagine ever loving another child the way I love her!
Here are a few of her 3 month shots!

We think that if Brooke were and animal she would be a turtle by her looks! So why not be a turtle for Halloween?

A few tid bit's about our little Brooke Lyn:
~Brooke is our little 50% baby in weight and height! 13 lbs. 4 oz. & 24 inches long
~She LOVES to laugh
~She cracks up when you tickle her arm pits, tummy, and legs!
~She has discovered her feet, her hands, and her tongue!
~She loves to grab onto her toy and is really good with her hand, eye coordination!
~She loves to roll onto her tummy but then sometimes forgets that she knows how to roll back onto her back and gets super mad until you assist her in rolling back over
~She is TOTALLY a Blankey and Binkey baby!!! She passes out for her naps and night time within 5 minutes if she has them both!
~She lays in her crib in the morning when she wakes up and just talks and laughs at herself and we LOVE to listen to it!
~When she see's me come in and peek over her crib to get her out she has the biggest smile and laughs when she see's me, it melts my heart!
~She LOVES to stand up (with assistance of course)
~She has just started to love her Bumbo
~She likes to spit up and I don't quite like that part
~She is a pickey eater most of the time
~She has a clogged tear duct, and possibly an alergy to something we think may be seasonal
~She loves to be out and about. The days where we do not get out much she seems more restless (her mommy's kid for sure with this)
~She loves it when I sing to her especially "Patty Cake Baker Man"
~She sleeps through the night most of the nights going to bed at 8pm and waking up at 7:30am, if not she wakes up once at 5am'ish!

Brooke is such an easy and plesant baby to have around. I feel like we can take her anywhere and she will adjust well. She is such a blessing to our lives! Thanks Brookie for making our lives SO MUCH BETTER!!!

THANK YOU!!!!

I wanted to pay you a huge Thank You to my family for helping take care of Brooke & I for the LONG 6 weeks I was down there in San Diego. I was quite demanding of them considering there was not much I could do on crutches. I know that we were not super convenient to have around and I am grateful for them always making me feel that they were actually happy to have us around. I wish there was something I could do for my wonderful family to pay them back for all of the help they were to Kip, Brooke, & I durring this trying time in our lives.

MOM: Thank You SO MUCH for EVERYTHING!!! For dropping me off at Amanda's in the mornings on your way to work, for picking me up on your way home every day, for making my meals, for working on countless crafts with me, for getting me hooked to new shows, for being the person that could trick Brooke into eating when she was being picky, for putting her to bed every night, for waking up in the middle of the rough nights to help Brooke & I out, and for the many, many other things you did for Brooke and I (this list could go on forever)! I love you SO MUCH and am SO grateful to be your daughter. I will strive for the rest of my life to be the woman you are. You inspire me and I love you so much!

Dad: Thanks so much for letting Brooke and I move back in and wake you up in the middle of the nights sometimes, for not getting mad at my loud voice when I talk, for letting me use your computer, for helping watch Brooke sometimes, and for paying for letting me eat your food and what not's. Love ya dad!

David: Thanks SO MUCH for the nights we would stay up chatting, for the many times you helped me out with Brooke by carrying her from place to place for me, for not complaining when Brooke's crying woke you up, for the rides to my Dr. Appointment and back home, for everything! I love you Ding!!!

Amanda: Thank you for waking up daily to Brooke and I's sounds in your house, for picking me up on the mornings I stayed home, for watching Brooke while I showered, for making all her bottles, getting me diapers, whipes, for letting me steal your chair for 6 weeks, for making me lunches and dinners, for laying Brooke down for me for her naps, for letting me have friends come over and visit me at your house, for teaching me total patience, for carrying my daughter on one arm when we were out and about at the same time as lugging your HUGE son on the other arm, for being a wonderful example of the type of mother I want to be to my children, and over all for taking care of Brooke and I when you were done taking care of yourself. I LOVE YOU!!!

Todd: Thanks so much for sharing your family with me, for letting me constantly be in your house and in your guys ways. Thanks for always making me feel welcome, for letting me eat dinners with you and invade your family time, for feeding me your food. Thanks so much for everything Love Ya!

Makenna: Thanks so much for loving your cousin Brooke o' so very much and for having loved her deeply from the day you found out Rah Rah was having a baby! Makenna you and Brooke will always have a special bond! Thanks for protecting her from baby Kellen, for giving her her Binkey when she needed it (especially in the car), for making sure she has her blankey and if she doesn't than being so kind to share yours with her (I know that is a BIG DEAL), thanks for feeling responsible for her happiness, thanks for making her laugh more than most people can, for talking to her, giving her bottles and helping make them, and for being a wonderful example to her! I love you Makenna!!!

Kellen: Thanks for loving your little cousin and for trying so hard to be gentle even when you are a huge beast of a child, thanks for sharing your mama with Brooke and I, Thanks for teaching Brooke how to handle some serious noise, thanks for helping get Brooke on a schedule, thanks for being delayed in your development in some stuff because a baby was around, thanks for loving your little cousin, I LOVE YOU Kellen!

I think that's everybody! Thank you all, I am sorry I could not thank you for every single thing you did for us! We love and miss you SO MUCH already!

I do have to say though, it is the most WONDERFUL feeling in the world to see this sight again!!! This picture melts my heart!!!

Being home with Kip and back to life, back to reality is WONDERFUL! I do miss my amazing family but being home is AMAZING!!!!!

Biggest Looser

So this is the deal! I NEED to loose a bunch of weight and the faster the better. As you all know, I just had a baby and shortly there after I had knee surgery and sat on my butt for 6 weeks recovering from that surgery. Due to these circumstances my belly is in a condition that is not satisfactory to me! I have NEVER EVER been THIS over weight in my entire life and I am totally NOT ok with it!
So this is my plan. I am going to put out there in public the amount of weight I have to loose. I want to be accountable to each and every one of you each week. For those of you that read this and that see me regularly I want to know that you are watching what I am eating so I will be more motivated to make good choices. I feel that by doing it this way I will be highly motivated to do what it takes to loose the weight I need to loose to feel good about myself once again.
Each Sunday I am going to weigh myself and not any day in between. I am going to post how much I have lost and how much I still need to loose. I feel that by doing this each week I am going to work hard so I have a good result to report.
Starting off I need to loose a whopping 20 lbs to be at a realistic weight for me!!! Yikes, I know!!!!!

This is where I started off when I came home from my parents house and began to walk once again!

(I thought this picture would be funny, I like laughing at myself sometimes)

Since I have been home I have lost 4 lbs so I now have 16 left to loose!!!!

So Long Summer

Now that the warm weather is leaving us and the cool weather is coming I want to take a look back on some of the past summer events that I never put up here. They can't go forgotten!!!!
At the beginning of the summer, only 4 short weeks after the birth of Brooke we got to spend some quality time with Kip's family down in San Diego! Uncle Rick was in town and so was Kip's cousin Shannon so we wanted to take full advantage of the whole family being together. Unfortunately Gregg had to work so he was not there. We had a great day at Sea World and then back to Paradise Point Hotel for fun by the pool! (where Kate and Maddy from John and Kate + 8 went on vacation) What a wonderful weekend with family, thanks dad and mom Robinson for this amazing weekend! (note: this is also the weekend our new car got hit)

Brooke and I also joined in on a girls night at Disneyland with a bunch of super fun girls from my ward! We had a total blast! We need to plan another girls night at Disneyland soon. Or even a couples night if I can get Kip to get an annual pass?Brooke did well being only 5 weeks old!

My sister Amanda, her husband Todd, and their two kids were sealed in the San Diego Temple the end of August for Time and All Eternity. It was such a beautiful sealing and such a beautiful day outside. We have been waiting for this day for a while and it was so special to be there to witness this sweet event. A late congrats to Amanda and Todd!

The beginning of September my sister's family decided to take Makenna and Kellen to Disneyland for their first time ever! It was Makenna's BIG Birthday gift. Brooke and I decided to come along (of course we were invited). It was a warm day but a very fun day. It is such a different experience going to Disneyland with a child and watching the world through their eyes. What a fun day we had! Again Brooke was a champ!!!
Brooke in Mickey Ears, not a big fan just yet but she will love it in no time :)

And last but not least on the list of things I should have blogged about sooner and done a better post on. THE MUD RUN!!! The weekend after my knee surgery Kip was signed up to do the San Bernadino Mud Run with his friend Todd Moran, which his mom and sis were also running. Kip said that this race was totally hard core. One of the hardest races he has ever done!!! They got muddy, the got sweaty, they got wet, they were soar, and they had a total blast! I love ALL of the pictures that I stole from people but I am only going to pick my favorites from the event! I WILL BE THERE NEXT YEAR RUNNING THIS WITH HIM!!!! I guarantee it!!! Doesn't this look so hard core?
