FINALLY!!!!

Brooke and I have been trying to communicate with this whole feeding process. I just have not been understanding her, up until today :) I finally figured out how I could feed her in a way that she would actually consume food. I tried rice cereal, baby oatmeal, baby food veggies, baby food fruit, smashing up actual veggies, smashing up actual fruit, NOPE!!! She hated them all!!! I gave her a slice of cucumber the other day and she went to town, I give her a pickle spear she snatches it out of my hands, try to feed her a whole banana and she loves it, but hates baby food banana's. SO today I just put whole raspberries, a quarter of a banana, and a bunch of green beans on her tray and she went to town.... WHY???? SHE NEEDS TO FEED HERSELF!!!!!!!! Our little independent woman! If I try to put it in her mouth, NOPE, but if I leave it on the tray for her to pick up and feed herself, YEP!!!

I have a feeling Brooke is always going to be a little picky in the eating category because she has been since the day she was born. I also have a feeling Brooke is going to be a kid that wants to grow up a little faster than her parents want her to. We shall see? But for now hip, hip, hooray for the fact that I found a way she will actually eat!

She's growing so fast! Funny how babies want to be so independent so early. Just wish it wasn't so messy. =0)

I guess this little girl has more in common with her nephew than we knew. So funny...but I really do enjoy that she is at least fussy about Something. Very cute pics...Love em!

Hon, they all grow up much faster than any of us want them to.
And, there's certainly nothing wrong with being independent, seems to run in the family !

I took me until Sienna was 7 months to actually eat solid foods. She just wasn't interested. However, now, we have absolutely NO problems! :o) Glad you figured out what that cute little girl needed. She's adorable!

Brooke is soo adorable! I read an article where it said that sometimes it might take 7 times of introducing a particular food to a child before they eat it. The reason why is because it is their instincts kicking in, because it's something new.
