Haunted Birthday Party!

So a few wonderful weeks ago was my lovely friend Emily Moran's Birthday. I am so sorry I have not posted this before now, but I had to make the Halloween deadline since it has to do with Halloween. So here goes!
Emily is AWESOME, she is so much fun and we wanted to make her 21'st birthday a HIT!!! Since she really can't get the clubbing experience being Married #1 and being Mormon #2! So we decided for a night of laughs and screams! (little did we know as this was being planned, that Emily gets frightened quite easy, OOPS!!!) So we decided to go to Downtown San Diego to this totally fun place called the Corvette Dinner where the waiters and waitresses are dressed in 50's get up with the big hair and all, there is a live DJ with oldies records, and dancing, laughter and lots and lots of straws and bubble gum! Perfect place to be loud and laugh. So perfect for the three couples involved, Kip and I, Todd and Emily, and Katie and Todd, all quite obnoxious!!! We had a total blast at dinner, our food was just OK, the shakes were good but the entertainment was fabulous, I think we all peed our pants a few times!!!

So this is what they do to the Birthday Person's Hair, it is SO FUNNY!!!! When she took the straws out it looked like she had curled her hair!
Look at all of us love birds!!! AAAwwww.....!!!!

This is just a cool picture I think! You can tell we were all just having a blasty being dorks!!!
SO after we filled our belly's and laughed half our dinner off we headed to the SCREAM ZONE down in San Diego! There are 3 haunted things to do, 2 Haunted Houses and a Haunted Hayride! We had a blast there as well. I think Emily almost had a heart attack a few times but good thing we had big tough guys there to protect us all. It was just so fun because it felt like Kipper and I were dating again for some reason, it was just such a fun night!!!!
All of us practicing our freaked out face!!!
The girls getting ready to be wimps!!!
The boys getting ready to protect their women!
We all made it out alive!!!! YEAH!!!!
Thanks for the wonderful night all you fun folks!!!! Happy LATE Birthday again Emily!!!!

Carving Free Style

So Kip and I seem to always wait till last minute to carve our Halloween Pumpkins. I have had them at our house for about a week, and you would have thought that we would have had them carved for our party, but no, we like to procrastinate! Last year we were carving them ON HALLOWEEN as the trick or treaters were knocking on our door. This day we moved it forward 2 days from last year and will actually have them carved for Halloween. We have some friends that seem to be in the same procrastinate boat as us so we decided to have a dinner/pumpkin carving/movie party last night after our brutal leg work out at the gym! SO MUCH FUN!!! Loved how they all turned out! So here you go a few fun pics from last night as we carved with Todd and Emily Moran at their place while watching Ghostbusters 1, SO FUN!!!!
Intently trying to decide on the face???? Big and very serious decision!

Husbands were made into Ghosts by their wives! Fun times!

Bang, Pop, the object of the game is to pop the balloon around the ankle of everyone before you get yours popped. This was so fun to play and watch!
We also played a game where people had to guess what was in the bag. It was stuff that was supposed to feel like body parts. I wish I would have gotten pictures of Heather and Sunny's faces as they stuck their hands into a bag of live crickets! It was SO FUNNY!!!
We had a GREAT time and are glad all of you came and put so much time and tought into your costumes. Can't wait till next year already!!!
